SLE - lupoid nephritis
Hello, I would like to ask if I can take Phytochi regarding my diagnosis of SLE. I have had the disease for 16 years and treatment has always been with the help of immunosuppressants and corticoids. I last underwent 2 pulses of biological treatment (mabtera) in November 2009. In the autumn of 2011, my knees and ankles started to hurt and I was prescribed Plaquenil 1 tablet/day and I have been taking Micardis plus 1/2 tablet/day long-term. Kidney function is preserved. 3 weeks ago I had pneumonia and was prescribed antibiotics. Since then I feel tired, without energy, I have headaches, and I also notice swelling of the ankles. My blood pressure is rather low (105/60). Please advise if I can start taking Phyto, how to dose it and if biological treatment is applied again, whether I can continue taking it. Many thanks and best regards, Petra Lukešová
Systemic lupus, which affects internal organs and joints. This joint involvement generally belongs among joint inflammations - arthritis. Phyto, which we use for skin manifestations of psoriasis, is applied in the same way for joint and internal organ (kidney) involvement in lupus. It can be used during the concurrent treatment mentioned below and long-term also to maintain a resting period. A detoxifying and healing regenerative effect is applied. Administration usually starts in gradual doses from 5ml and increases every week.
